Quote of the Week

Censorship is terrorism.

Not really all that far from the truth. The goal of terrorism: make people change their behavior. The goal of censorship: make people change their behavior to what you want. It’s interesting because they both use different methods to try to control people’s behavior. I would argue the latter is more dangerous, but I really should be working on the GeckoAddict administration panel, so I won’t elaborate much. Still, I though it was an interesting concept.

National Geographic Photo of the Day Background Changer

Quote of the week

Quote of the week comes from an AC on slashdot:
A War on Stupidity will be as effective as the War on Drugs. You can't combat something that grows naturally.

Coming soon.

Yup, I know it’s another pointless “Nothing to see here” page on the internet, but I swear it will eventually have content… really… as soon as I have time…

My goal is to use this blog to improve my photography and share little bits of information I come across throughout the day. I’m hoping to start a ‘Photo of the week’, which will force me to get out and use the thousands of dollars of camera equipment currently sitting in the bag. All this while working full time, designing two websites, planning a wedding, getting ready to go back to school, and of course, actually having a life. Should be an interesting little experiment if nothing else.
